Easter in NY

So I don't really remember much about Easter, guess I should have blogged sooner. We spent most of the day at Aunt Debs then went to Kev's parents for dinner. Oh ya, and Shaun also told us that he was moving to South Africa, not for good just for now. So here's some pictures:

The egg hunt

Luka found his first egg

The egg hung was on for the adults...you might think I'm kidding, but it gets pretty competitive, look at Erin in the background

The Easter bunny left the baskets in the back room..so the boys didn't get them until I remembered half way through breakfast

Hope you had a Happy Easter!!

Spring Brunch and Egg Hunt

The event went off great, we had plenty of food and lots of help. I was super stressed about running such a large event (it was for the 2 family dorms on campus). We had over 250 people show up. While the egg hunt was fun it was wicked windy. I also forgot to tell people that the golden eggs were prize eggs. I got most of the people who found them but some were left out. Someone also stole the 3 eggs Luka had, one of which was a prize egg..I was ticked. Next year I think its best to do the egg hunt BEFORE the brunch. Thanks to Anna for all her help planning the event, and to Andrew for helping out the night before. Now some picture:

Food Table..lots and lots of yummy stuff

-Met Aunt Deb and Barb down at the wharf for lunch and had a terrible trip home

June 10th?

Are we sure its June 10th and not October 10th? While 59* is still considered warm here, its not a warm 59*, it feels more like the lower 50's..sigh, will summer ever come?

What's your store?

So I think everyone has a store that they ALWAYS run into people. When I was living in Rockville Centre it was Roosevelt Field, and I think anyone that I grew up with would agree with me that every time they went to the Mall they ran into someone from school or someones parents.

Well since living here its been our grocery store Market Basket. Every time I'm there I run into the same person. Terese Plant. Now I've hung out with her at different events over the past year and half or so. But I think I've seen her more at Market Basket then anything else. It doesn't matter what day I go I always run into her.

So whats your store?

some things just work out

So no new pictures. Once Kev gets the picture from Philly off of our camera I will share some.

This is about the upcoming spring brunch and egg hunt Anna and I are planning. As of right now things look great. Of course I'm probably jinxing myself by posting this. The eggs are ordered, Catering is planned just needs to be put together, prize table is planned and will be bought tomorrow or Tuesday..and the weather well as of right now its supposed to be 58* and sunny. I hope that if nothing else it doesn't rain. So right now I have a great outlook for the event on Saturday..but ask me again on Friday

A boy and his Blankie

Luka loves his blankie. Charlie and him have the same one just in different colors, while Charlie loves his blankie..Luka has a different kind of love. He loves to rub it with his fingers when he's having a bottle or going to bed at night. He likes to drag it around with him. If its laying on the floor like it is in the picture, he loves to rub his face all over it. He also has been know to smack his head on it..and will do so until he hurts himself and starts cryings, he's a head banger just like his mommy :-). Also more often then not he bites it.
