When Luka goes to college..

This is what I'm going to give him
and nothing else. The child will NOT stop eating cat food. We have to close the cabinet (where the cats food and water is) when he is awake so he doesn't go have a snack. Just now I heard a rustling. I thought he was in his room playing..except it got a little too quite. And if your a mom you know thats not a good sign. So I get up and look..he had opened the closet were we keep the bag of cat food..he had spilled a little out and was sitting eating it.. now the first 300 times I caught him eating cat food I'd gag and nearly puke..this time I just laughed and got a bowl for him. He was quite happy that instead of me yelling at him and forcing him to get it out of his mouth I let him have it. Because really, if that's all he wants to eat then so be it.

Yes I'm mother of the year.

My Movie Star

So with in the past year I've been told my many people that Kevin looks like James Franco...You tell me what do you think? (and PLEASE PLEASE excuse my i'm in labor, panic attack, why are you making me take a picture smile ..this was just minutes before my c/s with Charlie)

Snow Day

We had our first real snow store yesterday. We received 10 inches..here's some pictures of the boys in the snow:
Luka wasn't feeling well so he only lasted a few minutes outside before the tears started
Note: bubble jackets + snow pants = not flattering, but I was super warm.
When we got inside we snuggled on the couch and watched UP. Nice way to start the afternoon.

UFK

Ultimate Fighting Kitty
The contenders:
Keegan V Willie

The other night I heard the fight going on between these two. Not sure who won but I know one of them has a nail(a piece of the claw not a real nail) stuck in his side. Lets go to the photographs..

while Keegan is the one that has the nail in his side, I think the pictures speak for themselves.
WINNER!

Chatty Cathy

Luka has become a regular chatty Cathy these days. Over the last week or two, instead of talking AT Charlie he talks TO Charlie ie: "Charlie!! Charlie!! What are you doing Charlie?"

Luka also has a nack for waking up just as I'm shutting down the house and getting ready for bed. This was the case last night. He woke up around 11pm. I peaked in on him and he was fine so I ignored him, got in bed and just listened to him talk. Here is the conversation he has with himself "Llena (his girlfriend from the 1st floor, her real name is Ellena she's a month older then him) Llenaaaa Llena? Wheres Llena? Mommy? mooommmmyyy mooommmmmyy Where are you Mommy...Charlie! Charlie! CHARLIE guess what(or maybe it was get up) Charlie! Daddy? Daaddyy.." That went on for a few more minutes until Kev finally went in there (he came home midway through Luka chatting away). He stayed awake until after 2:30am. He woke me up twice during that time (kev was up doing work so he was dealing with him) once to cuddle and the other time I just gave him a bottle. While he was up with Kevin, he asked to "watch a show", "play with trucks", "turn on the lights"..he asked for many things until Kev just gave him some toys and put him back in his bed.

I don't know how he does it but its like he has a sensor that goes off when i'm about to go to bed and when i'm trying to get up early in the morning before the kids get up. So I just give up, I was trying to change my schedule so I would go to bed earlier and wake up around 6 every morning. Luka won, I'll try again in a few months.

WANTED

Has anyone see this boy?

He went missing about 3-4 weeks ago. He has been replaced by a 16yr old hormonal teenage girl. He talks back, he test his limits with authority, he also laughs in your face when being punished. The last part is nothing new (he's done it since he started getting time outs), it has tapered off over the last few months but is back with a vengeance.

I'd like him back ASAP!

Easter in NY

So I don't really remember much about Easter, guess I should have blogged sooner. We spent most of the day at Aunt Debs then went to Kev's parents for dinner. Oh ya, and Shaun also told us that he was moving to South Africa, not for good just for now. So here's some pictures:
Charlie w/ Aunt Erin

The egg hunt

Luka found his first egg

Charlie holding on to Luka's egg

The egg hung was on for the adults...you might think I'm kidding, but it gets pretty competitive, look at Erin in the background

The Easter bunny left the baskets in the back room..so the boys didn't get them until I remembered half way through breakfast

Uncle Shaun and Charlie

Uncle Shaun and Luka

Later that evening at Kev's parents house

Enjoying their toy phones

not sure if he's excited or crying

The Fam

Hope you had a Happy Easter!!
